TOP 8 HONG KONG RECIPES TO TRY AT HOME Pin It

While waiting for travel borders to reopen, The Hong Kong Tourism Board is giving us Malaysians 100 Reasons to Miss Hong Kong. Giving Malaysians a taste of Hong Kong, we have compiled a list of recipes from Dish By Ili that will bring you back to some authentic Cha Chaan Teng (Hong Kong Style Cafes) meals.

1. Hong Kong Style Macaroni Soup with Chicken Ham

Macaroni Soup with chicken ham is a surprisingly quintessential breakfast served at most Cha Chaan Tengs.  It’s a simple comfort food that’s enjoyed by many especially during cold days because it is quick to make and delicious too.

2. Hong Kong Style French Toast

Slightly different from the usual French Toast we would stumble upon, this particular French Toast consists of chunky peanut butter and strawberry jelly jam between 2 thick slices of white or brioche bread. It is served with a slab of butter on top along with a drizzle of condense milk. Talk about guilty pleasures!
