Description
Seeing as it’s Durian Season, I thought I’d just make this amazing, creamy, scrumptious Pengat Durian, also known as Serawa Durian, and let me tell you when I say this was soooo good! Also, the fact that you can use just any simple, not-that-tasty Durian and STILL make this recipe taste spectacular is so awesome guys.
Ingredients
500ml Coconut milk
1.5 liter Water
500g Durian
1 Pandan leaf
140g Gula Melaka
A pinch of Salt
Instructions
- First, let’s cook the sago, check out how I cook my sago Here!
- In a pot, add in water,pandan leaf, gula melaka, and durian. On a low flame, bring it to a boil.
- Add coconut milk, and salt in it. Cook it until the durian softens and add gula melaka if needed.
- Serve it hot or cold according to your preference.
- It pairs well with toasted bread, stemmed pulut, and Roti Jala, or just by itself is good to go.
