You want to cut and clean a live crab but don’t know what to do no worries we got you covered.
- You got to freeze them in the freezer for 2-3 hours.
- Soak them in a little bit of water before you slit the bottom back of the crab, so its easier to pull apart.
- Pull our the head and break the body into two.
- Remove all the gills.
- Snap all the claws off.
- Clean them with a brush cause they are mud crabs and they get pretty muddy.
- Lastly, knock the claws with a pestle so that the flavor gets in when you cook
