Savoury Breakfast Oats


1/2 Cup of Rolled Oats
1.5 Cups of Water or Vegetable Stock
1 Clove of Garlic, Chopped Finely
1cm of Ginger, Thinly Sliced
Salt and Pepper to Taste
1 Sunny Side Up Egg
Spring Onions, Chopped (Optional)
You could opt to use Chicken Stock instead of vegetable stock if you are looking for something more flavorful ! Garnish with fried onions for an added sweetness.


1. In a pot add in some oil, garlic, ginger and a splash of liquid amino before stirring in the rolled oats and water. Cook until all combined and the oats have soaked up all of the water
2.To serve, add in the oats in a bowl, place the egg ontop followed by a sprinkling of spring onions
