This quick and easy Rendang Lecah is full of flavour and creaminess from the coconut milk. Best to be enjoyed with your whole family or during an open house !

1 Whole Chicken | |
1 Yellow Onion | |
6 Cloves of Garlic | |
1 Lemongrass | |
1 inches of Galangal | |
3 inches of Ginger | |
2 Tumeric Leaves | |
1 Tablespoon of Chili Powder | |
2 Packets of Coconut Milk | |
Salt & Sugar to taste |
This quick and easy Rendang Lecah is full of flavour and creaminess from the coconut milk. Best to be enjoyed with your whole family or during an open house !
1. | Chop the chicken into 16-18 pieces, set aside. |
2. | Blitz together the onions,garlic,ginger and galangal. |
3. | Hit lemongrass with the back of a knife and mix 2 packs of coconut milk with water |
4. | In a big wok, put in all the chicken, blended paste, lemongrass and coconut milk. let it simmer for about 20mins |
5. | Add in chili powder and chopped tumeric leaves. Let cook for another 5 mins and add salt and sugar. Serve Hot. |
