Pengat Durian
Durian season is around the corner, meaning it’s time for us to make some Pengat Durian! This dish is so addictive and best eaten with some glutinous rice or steamed mantao buns. Believe us when we say , you’ll be coming back for more.

Ingredients
700g of Durian Pulp
1 Cup of Thick Coconut Milk
1/2 Cup of Thin Coconut Milk
2 cups of milk
160g of Gula Melaka, chopped
6 Pandan Leaves
Salt
Instructions
1. Blend the durian pulp to a fine paste
2. In a pot add in thin coconut milk and milk along with pandan leaves and gula melaka and bring to simmer
3. Add in the durian pulp and continue to simmer for 10 minutes before adding the thick coconut milk
4. Add in a pinch of salt
5. Once thick, remove from the heat and serve along side some plain mantao buns

This pengat durian is great to eat alongside some glutinous rice or steamed plain mantao buns!
