Who says you need to go out now to get hot pot? We got you covered! Here we use our very own Dish By Ili Prawn Chili Oil to make this delicious Hot Pot.

Ingredients

For The Soup:

2000ml of Chicken Stock

12 Dried Red Chilies

4 Inches of Ginger, Sliced

4-6 Tablespoons of Dish By Ili Ikan Bilis Chili Oil

3-5 Bay Leaves

10 Cloves of Garlic, Peeled

1 Cinnamon Stick

5 Star Anise

10 Cloves

1 Tablespoon of Sichuan Peppercorns

2 Tablespoons of Oil

For Garnish

Bak Choi

Wanton Noodles

Fishball and Fish Cakes

Tofu Balls

Fresh Prawns

Sliced Meat

Instructions

  1. In a large, add in some vegetable oil and fry up the ginger, garlic, cloves, cinnamon stick and star anise for 1 minute.
  2. Nest, add in the Prawn Chili Oil, dried chilies and stir fry for another minute before adding in the stock.
  3. Boil the broth for about 10 minutes and then it’s ready for your hot pot.
  4. Prep all your side dishes for the hotpot and dig in!

Notes

You can opt to switch up the chicken stock for prawn stock too!
