Black Pepper Chicken Chop

Ingredients
For Chicken Chop:
2 Chicken Chops
1 Teaspoon of White Pepper
1 Teaspoon of Salt
1 Egg
For Flour Mixture:
1/2 Cup of Plain Flour
1/4 Cup of Rice Flour
1/4 Cup of Corn Flour
1 Teaspoon of White Pepper
1 Teaspoon of Salt
For Black Pepper Sauce:
1 Tablespoon of Butter
1 Onion, chopped
2 Tablespoons of Black Pepper
2 Tablespoons of White Pepper
2 Cups of Water
1 Teaspoon of Bovril/Marmite/Beef Stock Cube
1 Teaspoon of Brown Sugar
1 Teaspoon of Cornflour, mixed with 1/2 cup of water
Instructions
- Firstly, in a bowl, add in the chicken chop, white pepper, salt and egg. Mix well and set aside.
- Then, in another bowl, add in the flour, corn flour, rice flour, salt, pepper and mix well.
- With the chicken chop with marinated earlier, mix it with the flour mixture. Making sure everything is evenly coated.
- Then in a frying pan, heat up some oil and fry the chicken chops until they are fully cooked. Once cooked, set aside.
- In another sauce pan, add in the butter and melt. Then, throw in the chopped onions, and sautee until soften.
- Then, add in all the ingredients of the black pepper sauce except the corn flour mixture.
- Cook all the ingredients for about 2 minutes then add in the cornflour and water mixture. Slowly pour it in and let the sauce simmer for about 1-2 minutes or until it thickens.
- Once thick, remove the sauce from the heat and pour it over the chicken.
- Serve the chicken chop alongside some steam vegetables and french fries.
Notes
If you want to have the chicken brown evenly when frying, in the egg mixture, add in about 1 teaspoon of sugar and mix well.
